Christianity gives people a sense of superiority which is appalling to me. Today I was discussing my admiration for the Chinese people due to the longevity of their civilization with a person who happens to be Christian. This person said to me “I admire everything about them except their religion.” I then said “I personally think Buddhism and Taoism are very nice religions.” She then asked “well what does Buddha have to offer?” I responded “Buddha is a model for Buddhists to look up to because he reached nirvana and thus ended suffering.” She said ‘but Buddha is an idol and according to the Bible, idols are against God and are satanic.” Christians need to understand that the world does not follow the Bible. The Bible is only one way out of hundreds of different ways of looking at the world. Christians do not see the beauty or significance in anything that does not follow their world view. This is utterly disrespectful, illogical, and it creates a superiority complex whereas “my religion is better than any other religion in the world!”
I personally believe there is no one right religion. The right religion is the one that belongs to your people. Mexicans had nothing to do with the writing of the Bible and in fact are not even mentioned in it once. We don’t and never have spoken Hebrew. We are not genetically related to anyone from the Bible. Yet Mexicans still name their children after Hebrew biblical figures such as David, Jesus, and Daniel. We should have names like Pakal, Muwaan Mat, K’inich Ahkal Mo’ Nahb, Tezozomoc, Chimalpopoca, Motecuhzoma Xocoyotzin. In Mexicayotl, it is impossible to separate religion from other societal functions; it is a part of our collective history as a people.
Christians have to be the most insecure, defensive, and pushy people on Earth. They see no value in anything if it contradicts their own beliefs. I am a devout follower of Mexicayotl yet I don’t ever feel threatened by the beliefs of others. If someone doesn’t believe in Ometeotl, so what? I refuse to spend time and energy defending my beliefs or pushing them on anyone else. I remember the first time I met a good friend in college in a M.E.Ch.A. office, one of the first questions she asked me was “are you Christian or Catholic?” I simply said “neither.” She was stunned that I did not believe in the Christian God and so she questioned me further. When I explained Mexicayotl to her, she became an instant convert. This is a girl who was very involved in the Catholic Church by the way. This is the way it should be. Many Mexicans would not have such a drastic reaction because they are so disconnected from what it is to be Mexican. They don’t eat real Mexican food, they want to look and be white, they know nothing about Mexico. That is why many organizations such as the Mexica Movement are focusing much of their energy on teaching Mexicans to be proud of who they are. Once this is in place, Mexicans will naturally begin learning Mexicayotl.
I remember the shock my students experienced when as 7th graders I informed them of the true nature of Columbus. I had never seen students as stunned as they were. That single revelation left a lasting impression on them as a year later they collectively refused to miss school in honor of Columbus on October 12th. Indigenous groups across the world are spreading the word about Columbus, slowly exposing him for the maniac he was.
Here are some nice pictures from a former monument to Columbus in Venezuela which has become an important area of rebellion against western domination:
I recently finished an incredible book titled “The CosmicSerpent: DNA and the Origins of Knowledge.” by Jeremy Narby. This is an essay i wrote in response to it. It is the story of an anthropologist (Jeremy Narby) who went to do research in the Peruvian rainforests among the Ashaninca in the community of Quirishari. Like all arrogant white men who are anthropologists, he thought he would go, listen to their stories and then write them down in his notebook as the “mythology” of the Ashaninca. He however had the insight to see past what he was taught by his professsors to realize these people actually knew what they were talking about. The Ashaninca are a people who have an extensive knowledge about the thousands of plants in the rainforest and their medicinal potential. Narby himself had chronic back pain when he began his research. One of the elders of the community noticed this and “proposed to cure my back pain by administering a sanango tea at the new moon.” Narby was “skeptical, thinking that if it were really possible to cure chronic back pain with half a cup of vegetal tea, Western medicine would surely know about it.” (This is a very interesting comment because it rules out the idea that the “placebo effect” was the factor resulting in his cure.) According to Narby, “On the morning of the third day, my back pain had disappeared. To this day it has not returned.” How are the Ashaninca able to prescribe such precise medicine if they do not have a valid knowledge of the plants they are using as Western scientists have claimed? Scientists attribute their knowledge of the these plants to “trial and error.” Meaning these people went around the rainforests of South America(which make up half of the world’s rainforests) trying out all of the plants until they found one that worked for a particular illness. The absurdity of this idea is typical of “Western science and shows how incompatible their science is with our own. The probability alone that they would stumble upon the correct plant for a precise symptom out of the millions of choices is astronomical. How then do the Ashaninca know about the medicinal value of each plant they use? According to them, “One learns these things by drinking ayahuasca” and the “Plants will communicate with you shortly therafter.” The idea that we can communicate with other forms of life is absolutely absurd according to Western science but by using their own discoveries, we can decipher the true meaning of what the Ashaninca are saying. It has recently been discovered that DNA constantly releases particles of light called photons. The rate is too rapid for our eyes to perceive however. They also discovered that if you unwound the two opposing DNA strands, they would reach far into outer space. What does all this mean? Well when one takes ayahuasca or tobacco, the molecules of these substances match up with the Serotonin receptors (brain hormone) in our brain. The result is what Western scientists call “hallucinations” but what the Ashaninca call “reality.” When the Ashaninca ingest these plants, a vivid array of colors and images appear in place of what we usually perceive as reality. One always sees two fluorescent snakes intertwined speaking to you. When Narby took the ayahuasca for the first time, they told him (speaking to him without words but inside his own brain) “You are just a human being.” and it deeply affects him as he realizes “it is profoundly true that i am just a human being, and, most of the time, i have the impression of understanding everything, i feel like crying in view of the enormity of these revelations. Then it dawns on me that this self-pity is a part of my arrogance.”The conclusion Narby draws is that when you ingest these plants, you are actually unlocking reality. The so-called “hallucinations” you see are not distortions of reality but are the messages DNA is constantly sending out through photons and sound waves. He says that when you see these images, you also hear music emanating from the images, which the Anashinca then mimick with their instruments in their ceremonies. The intertwined fluorescent serpents are the actual image of DNA itself. DNA is not an innate substance made up of amino acids and proteins but is actually alive and contains cosmic knowledge. When the Ashaninca ingest these plants, they say that all of the plants talk to them without words telling them their specific medicinal value. It is in this way that they have discovered their medicinal value. Kurly Tlapoyawa has demonstrated to us in his article “Anawak/Mexika Cosmology” how our ancestors revered serpents and to no suprise the Ashaninca rever them for the same exact reasons. Narby points out that many cultures in the world has an idea of double or twin serpents as central to their spiritual beliefs; even those who don’t have snakes in the area they live in (such as Siberia). He points out the Egyptians, Greeks,Romans,Aborigines of Australia, Native Americans, Chinese (Taoism is rooted in the idea of twin serpents) and many other cultures around the world. Even the Europeans believed in this principle and held the serpent as sacred before Christianity corrupted their minds. One particular culture of interest he notes is the Mexica. He says the idea of Quetzalcoatl is evidence that we knew about DNA. He says Quetzalli and coatl both have double meanings:Quetzalli means precious and feather while coatl means serpent and twin. The word according to Narby thus means both precious serpent and twin seprent. Ometeotl which means dual cosmic energy fits perfectly with what the Ashaninca have taught Narby. Ometeotl is understood to be a cosmic energy (note the extent of DNA strands), the creative force of the universe, and is dual in nature. Our ancestors frequently portrayed the symbol of Ometeotl framed by two intertwined serpents (http://www.mexicauprising.net/images/omedisc.jpg). Therefore, all along we have been believing in DNA (the source of all creation) itself and not a mysterious God as Kurly Tlapoyawa has pointed out. Consequently, this means that our ancestors have known about DNA for millenia before white men discovered it in the 1950’s.
any foreign government claiming to have the right to govern Anahuak is a criminal government; it doesn’t matter what color their skin is……..They are inheriting land that is soaked with our blood…….once they give it back and return to their ancestral homes, we will celebrate…..I was teaching U.S. history on Friday and a student raised her hand and asked me: “what was happening in the rest of the world? What were the other civilizations around the world doing in 1800?” I thought about it for a few seconds and I responded “remember all of those great civilizations we learned about in 7th grade like the Chinese, Japanese, Maya, Indians, Arabs, Africans? Well the white man was going around the world raping, killing, and stealing their lands.”……sadly, the largest colonial empire still standing is the one dominating our own lands and our people are crying and celebrating a new ruler of this criminal regime…..Keep in mind, Obama is half white…
One of the most popular pages statistically on www.mexicauprising.net is the article entitled “The Virgen of Guadalupe is Really Tonantzin.” The article spawned from another article “The Virgin of Guadalupe: A Mexican National Symbol” by Eric R. Wolf. I had slept on the article for a while but I revisited it and I want to discuss it here. The article is interesting as it discusses the duality of modern Mexican society. It notes as we all know that modern-day Mexican society is composed of on one side: the dominating white man and on the other the dominated indigenous men/women/children. In the article Wolf notes that in Mexico, “Guadalupe stands for life, for hope, for health; Christ on the cross, for despair and for death.” “Guadalupe embodies a longing to the return to the pristine state in which hunger and unsatisfactory social relations are minimized.” On another note, Wolf also points out that in indigenous Mexican society, “labor and authority are shared equally among both marriage partners. Exp
loitation of one sex by the other is atypical; sexual feats do not add to a person’s status in the eyes of the other. Physical punishment and authoritarian treatment of children are rare.” The Spaniards brought a family tradition to us however in which children are ruled with a heavy hand; physical punishment is frequent. The father’s authority is unquestioned on both the real and the ideal plane, double sex standards prevail, and male sexuality is charged with a desire to exercise domination.”Overall, the white man brought us very little that has been beneficial to us as a whole. I think it is for this reason that there is a strong movement towards our indigenous cultural tradition and identity.

As my first post, I want to share an experience I had a couple days ago. Make no mistake, Mexicayotl can be proven and I can personally attest to the extraordinary power and truth of Mexicayotl. Unlike Christianity, no faith is required to believe in Mexicayotl. In this sense, Mexicayotl is very similar to science. You can go further and state that Mexicayotl is science with an added spiritual component. Instead of simply stating what the Earth is made of, we go further and state that the Earth (tlalli in Nahuatl) is embodied with the spirit of Tonantzin; our sacred mother. Thus when the masculine spirit of water reaches the Earth, it is changed and becomes embodied with the spirit of Tonantzin; thus completing the duality of water: Tlaloc and Chalchihuitlicue A couple days ago, I wrote a myspace bulletin which included an ebook download Handbook to Life in the Aztec World for everyone who opened it In the bulletin, I h
ad included a random excerpt from the book regarding souls. The premise of the excerpt is that our ancestors believed every human contains three souls: Tonalli (located in the head), Teyolia (heart) , and Ihiyotl(liver). Immediately after I posted the bulletin, I walked into my bedroom where my cihuatzin Ichpokatzin was watching a show called “The Drs.” As I glanced at the idiot box, the doctors were discussing people who had received liver and heart transplants. They were discussing the fact that people who receive these transplanted organs claim to either change (I read a story in which a housewife who received a new liver began wearing leather jackets and began riding harley’s; she later discovered the donor was a biker) or experience memories that aren’t theirs (in the show they were discussing a woman who received a new heart and began dreaming about a man who was apparently killing her; the woman pursued the man and discovered he had killed the donor). This experience reaffirme
d to me that Mexicayotl will guide you ever step of the way. No faith required, Mexicayotl is based on fact. A great novel that is a must read regarding this idea of signs is The Alchemist. So, the reason why recipients of transplanted livers and hearts have such strange memories and dreams can be explained by Mexicayotl : because the liver and heart contain our souls.
