Long Live Fidel!

If you read Das Kapital, you will see Communism is as racist as Capitalism. If you read the writings of Karl Marx you will see he divided up history in 8 phases:

First Phase - Primitive
Second Phase - Primitive Communal
Third Phase - Early Antiquity
Fourth Phasse - Imperial Antiquity
Fifth Phase - the Middle Ages
Sixth Phase - the Stable Absolutist Post-Medieval Phase)
Seventh Phase - Capitalist
Eighth Phase - Post-Capitalist

According to Marx, history is in a constant state of progression whereas capitalists are more advanced than primitive communalists. This view of history is illogical. On what basis is capitalism better then primitive communalism? We have seen capitalism destroy the earth in a very short period of time whereas primitive communalists have maintained the balance between man and nature for millenia. Who then may I ask is more advanced?

Just for clarification though: Fidel Castro has never claimed to be a communist. He is actually a socialist.

We have to give him the credit he deserves. He has brought free food, free health care, free education, and free housing to most of the Cuban populations These are really amazing accomplishments which not even the most powerful bully of a country has been able to do for its citizens. Yes there is welfare, but that is not available to 100% of the population is it? Last time, I checked we all have to pay for rent and for food. And if you get hurt with no health insurance fucking forget it - you will pay a few thousand for one day in the hospital. Even if you do have health care, you will still have to stay pay something. Sure education is free but you can only qualify for grants if your parents are really poor. You don't have to write scholarship essays in Cuba; if you want to go to college, you go.

But beyond all that, I love Fidel and Cuba because Cuba represents one of very few countries in the world that has stood up to the United Snakes as a unified force. Before Fidel liberated Cuba, Batista allowed U.S. influence to pervade the entire Cuban economy, including public utilities, petroleum, sugar, and tourism. The United Snakes literally owned Cuba.

In fact "By the 1950's Americans owned 40% of the Cuban sugar industry, 80% of Cuban utilities, and 90% of Cuban mining" (Source: Live By the Sword by Gus Russo, page 4). And if you want to talk about having their lives controlled? "Batista's personal wealth stood somewhere between 60$ and 300$ million...When Batista and his close corruptionists fled the country as 1958 turned into 1959, they took with them-nobody knows how much for sure-some 350 million pesos of the national treasury (one peso equaled one dollar)" (Source: Live By the Sword by Gus Russo, page 5)

What would you do in that situation? Any person who can honestly say they would allow this to happen would be either insane or AmeriKKKan (which of course when combined: insane Amerikkkan, then becomes an oxymoron). Fidel and his comrades, all 100 of them stood up against both Batista and AmeriKKKa. That is probably one of the bravest things any army of 100 has ever done - even braver than the 300 Greek Spartans who stood up to the Persians! The Persians had no airplanes, atomic weapons, or m16's. The Snakes did. This takes an incredible amount of love and compassion for your people. It is the ultimate sacrifice.

Now when these 100 men got to Cuba in their leaky boat (after being trained in Mexico), Batista's army was waiting for them. over 80% of the original 100 were killed before they even stepped onto Cuban soil.

But you know what is amazing about that? Fidel along with Raul, Che, and Camilo did not stop; they did not give up. They got the support of the poor peasants which comprised a vast majority of the Cuban population. You see at this point, not only were the Snakes controlling Cuba, but those rich white descendants of the spanish dogs who exterminated the Taino from Cuban soil made up the upper class.

You know the first thing Castro did after he defeated Batista? He took all the accumulated wealth away from these rich white Cubans. In fact he personally took my neighbor's yacht away from his family. Then he did not keep that wealth for himself: he spread the wealth so that every Cuban would have what they needed.

These rich white spanish descendants were of course very upset with Castro. The Snakes helped them out by letting them live in Miami where they still reside today. Then the Snakes gave them guns and airplanes to go take Cuba back.

This was called the Bay of Pigs. Castro and his people's army annihilated these descendants of Columbus and they went crying back to Miami. And now these traitors own most of the Spanish television networks such as univision. Which is why you see ignorant propaganda on these stations. It seems like everytime I am watching these stations, there is a show making fun of Castro. Of course our people watch these things and believe what they see which is where a lot of the hate for Castro comes from.

If I was Castro, I would be a bit paranoid also. He loves the revolution; and he loves the Cuban people. Nobody really knows how many times he has almost been assasinated but what we do is that these assasination attempts all came from Cuban traitors in Florida or the C.I.A. The most laughable attempt was when the C.I.A. sent Castro an explodable cigar! So, I think he might want to control society just a little bit. He has a lot of love for his revolution and he takes measures to ensure nobody ruins all the great things he has accomplished.

Think about it, every single Cuban citizen is allowed to have any weapon of their choice. No, Castro doesn't control that. Most citizens do carry weapons. They know that the Snakes might attack at any given moment and they are ready to defend the revolution. But not one time in the course of Castro's leadership has there ever been an assasination attempt from an armed citizen. If people really hated him so much, they would have plenty opportunities to take him out at his hundreds of rallies. What he does control usually has to do with the government's duty to provide supplies and care to the Cuban citizens. Who in their right mind would complain about that?

Does it really matter which -ist Castro subscribes to? It is apparent that the man has done nothing but good. And of course he has done what few others have: he has stood up to the beast and has succeeded.
